Make finding that sweet spot easier and quicker.
You have a One time fixing of the Jackplate plate to Your transom and all height adjustments are then made via the 4x sliding bolts separate from the transom screws/ bolts.
There is no need to keep drilling holes with each height adjustment.
The Predator mount simply slides to your test position and the 4 X Nyloc nuts are retightened to lock it to that test height.
The jackplate allows for Stowing away your transducer from potential road travel and sand bank/beach damage.
