Inclinometer tool

Digital Inclinometer tool will enable you to find the angle of your boat at a particular speed , to then level the transducer  for optimal results as the transducer runs hydrodynamically  through the water to show the arch shape of fish.

Achieving a level transducer in the water is crucial for best sound quality, detailed fish arches and giving best bottom contours under speed. While using coins or packers amd a sprit level to find the boat’s running angle works, but it can be messy as you need to be doing some speed to understand how your boat sits in the water at a particular speed, coins or washers will move around. The Inclinometer Tool is a much easier and more precise solution, giving you reliable results every time. By using the tool to measure your boat's angle at a predetermined speed, you can ensure your transducer is level when you’re back on the water.

Set the inclinometer on a flat surface (like the gunnel) while underway at a reasonable speed trolling speed , and using the tool ,make note of the angle.

Take the boat home.

Set the boat’s angle at home to match the angle measured on the water using the jockey wheel and a jack.

Once you have duplicated the angle you found at sea at home, then level your actual transducer with a spirit level.

Your transducer will now be running level when travelling at the same speed you chose on the water.
