The Ti mount will give you the opportunity to dig deeper into water to find cleaner water that the transducer needs for a clear sonar return .
Under Your boat the water is turbulent from the boat agitating the water and so the Ti Garmin mount will get below this layer and still be strong enough to support the transducer with the added water pressure.
This package is a combo kit comprising of the heavy duty mount along with the height adjusting Jackplate and spray plate brackets
Along with this kit you also get 2x spray guard brackets in case a spray plate is required.( you need to make the plate yourself or get it done locally to you in order for it to be accurate) we have by e information on doing this.
The Jackplate makes height adjustment very easy rather than having to redrill and rescrew every time you want to make a test height adjustment to find that sweet spot.
The Ti GT mount also provides easy angle adjustment with approximately 140mm of height adjustment giving you the opportunity to stow away your transducer from potential travel damage.
This kit uses the Garmin GT stainless steel mount to fix to, So you need to have that item for the Ti GT mount to fit to.( see photos in white to check the mount you must have) some photos include the stainless bracket and we do not supply that.
Garmin also made a stainless bracket that had a 6mm hinge hole and and 8mm hole ( see photos with it pointing out) if you have the 6mm hole then you will need to drill out the bracket to 8mm in order for the the Ti GT mount to bolt to . 8mm bolts are going to have a lot better holding power on the hinge angle adjustment.

if you sink the transducer in deeper than the recommended drop then the transducer will spray up and this salt spray can be sucked into the outboard so a spray plate is advised if your transducer sprays .
You must use all 4 bolts/nuts or screws (with washers)provided when attaching the mount.
The back of the jackplate is HDPE plastic so its compatible for use on aluminium and fibreglass boats, Use TEFGEL, DURALAC or similar products , even silicon when stainless steel screws or bolts are touching aluminium to prevent dissimilar metal corrosion.
