Custom Spray Guards for Ti Transducer Mounts and How to make one D.I.Y.

This custom-made spray guard is designed to fit some the TIG Integrity Transducer Mounts, providing protection for your outboard from corrosion  from salt spray.

If you need to position your 1 kW transducer deeper into the water for better readings, it’s likely that you’ll encounter spray. This spray can be sucked into your outboard, potentially causing internal rusting. The custom spray guard helps prevent this by deflecting the spray, keeping the water condensed around the transducer and potentially preventing air from reaching the transducer zone. This guard can be custom made to suit your specific setup, ensuring optimal fit for your boat's dead rise angle and the final transducer position.

Material options: Choose between 1.2mm polished 316 stainless steel ($265) or 1.2mm unpolished stainless steel (sanded to 600 grit, ready for painting, powder coating, or wrapping – $195).

How to Order:

• Email tigintegrity@bigpond.com with two photos of the TM2 mount setup—one side view and one front view, taken at the transducer level. We also require a measurement from the centre of the spray guard fitting slot to the face of the fixing plate.

Note: You will need the spray plate tabs kit before a guard can be custom made.

We recommend purchasing the tabs with your purchase of mount to save with discount and shipping. Once you have received the tabs , they are to be installed and then the guard is made custom to your requirements.

Please allow 2-3 days for custom fabrication. The spray guard is typically ordered after the TM2 mount is installed and tested for the optimal transducer position.
